J. h. Traders & Exporters

We set up J. h. Traders & Exporters right here on 22nd Croos in BTM 2nd Stage. It is a good spot near the 16th Main. If you know this area, you know it gets crowded but it is a good place to do business. We do a lot of trading and exporting. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipments. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled up on the desk and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of people. It is just a handful of us working out of this space at No. 76/1. We try to keep things simple because that is what works best for us. When things get busy, we just work longer hours. The neighbors around here are mostly other small shops and families. We’ve been at this for some time now and we have seen the neighborhood grow around us. Trading isn't always easy because prices go up and down and shipping takes time. We just take it one day at a time. If someone calls with a question, one of us picks up the phone. There is no automated system or anything. We just talk like regular people. We focus on getting the goods moved from one place to another without making a big fuss about it. It is a straightforward job and we are happy to be doing it here in BTM. It's not a flashy life but it's ours.
