Aurigene Technologies

Aurigene Technologies is located way out in Balikoppa village. It’s in the Sidhapur area of Uttara Kannada, near Karvar. It’s quite a distance from the big cities. Tejaswi Naik handles things here. The surroundings are mostly green, which is a big change if you’re used to the industrial parts of the district. It’s a rural setting, so things move a bit slower than they do in Bangalore or even Karwar town. The address is basically a family home setup, being the son of Narayana Naik. You won’t see any glass buildings or big signs here. It’s just a house in the village. Sometimes the power goes out when it rains heavily, which is common in this part of Karnataka. We have to work around those things. People in the village know us, so finding the place is easy if you just ask someone on the road. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a fancy canteen or a lounge. We just have our equipment and a place to sit. It’s quiet, except for the usual village noises like tractors or cattle. The air is fresh though. It’s a different way of running a technology-related business, but it’s where we are rooted. We just keep things simple and do what needs to be done every day. There is a small porch where we sit sometimes in the evenings when the work is finally finished for the day.
