Our place is located out in Chikkabanavara, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main part of Bangalore city. We use the address Pb No.20 because that is how the mail gets to us reliably. Sjc Institute Of Engineering Chikkaballapur has been sitting in this spot for a while now, and the area around us has changed quite a bit. It used to be much quieter, but now there are more houses and small shops popping up along the roads. The campus itself is pretty spread out. You will notice that things aren't always perfectly polished here. Some of the walls could use a bit of work, and the ground gets dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoons. Most of the staff and students arrive by the local trains or buses that stop nearby. It is a bit of a walk from the station, but most people don't seem to mind it too much once they get used to the routine. We don't really go in for big, flashy displays or fancy reception areas. It is mostly just rooms for classes and some open space where people sit around during their breaks. The trees provide some decent shade, which is nice when it gets hot around mid-day. We just focus on keeping the day-to-day operations going without too much fuss. It is a practical kind of place, where people come to get their work done and then head home to beat the evening traffic back towards the city.
