Out here at No. 88/3 and 88/6 in Basavanahalli Village, things feel a bit different than the city offices in Bangalore. We are in the rural part, so there is more space but also more dust. Our facility is quite spread out because we deal with large-scale industrial stuff. You can see the big sheds from the road. Most of the people working here live in the nearby areas, so there is a local feel to the place despite the company being large. We spend our time working on engineering projects and moving big components around. The floor is usually busy with people in safety vests. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on getting the machines built and tested. We have a small tea stall just outside the gate where we often go to take a break from the noise. The weather out here in Bangalore Rural can get quite hot in the afternoons, and the shed roofs don't always keep the heat out. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the drawings and the assembly. Some of the equipment we handle is very heavy, so there's a lot of crane work. It's a place where you're more likely to see a wrench than a tie. We just come in, do the work that’s assigned for the day, and try to make sure everything is sorted before the shift ends. It’s hard work but it’s what we do.
