Down here in Tharad, at Ranesari, things move at their own pace. Tvs Banaskantha Spnf Producer Company Limited is based out of a spot near the GP 2295 area. It’s quite a mouthful, the name, but for us, it’s just where we work. Banaskantha is known for being a bit tough with the weather, so we spend a lot of time figuring out how to keep things growing. We have a small office at 12 New 107To107/P2, and usually, there’s a couple of us sitting around with notebooks trying to keep everything straight. It’s a group effort, really. Everyone puts in what they can. Some days we are out in the fields seeing how the SPNF methods are actually holding up. It’s not always easy to shift away from the old ways of doing things, but people around here are willing to try. We talk to the neighbors and the other farmers about what’s working and what isn't. The office is often dusty because of the winds, but it doesn't bother us much. We aren't some big corporation from the city; we are just people from Ranesaritaluka trying to make a living and keep the soil healthy. It takes a lot of patience to run a producer company in a place like this. There’s always someone coming in to check on their membership or ask about the latest harvest. We just keep going.
