If you are looking for Shree Thakur Traders, you have to head down Dhuwa Road. We are situated right behind the G.I.D.C area. It’s an industrial part of town, so there is always some noise from the factories around us. One thing you can't miss is the railway crossing nearby. When the gates go down, everything just stops for a few minutes and we watch the trains go by. It’s a bit of a dusty stretch of road, especially when the big trucks roll through, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The building isn't anything special to look at. It’s just a solid place where we keep our stock and handle the day-to-day trades. We open up early because the morning air is cooler. By noon, the sun is usually beating down on the roof pretty hard. We have a few chairs for visitors and a desk that’s seen better days. Most of our neighbors are also in the trading business, so we all know each other well. Sometimes the dust from the G.I.D.C gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning off the shelves. It’s just how it is out here on the edge of the industrial zone.
