Perception Technology

We are at No. 9/1128 in Ashish Bhavan, right in the Ambaji Mandir Compound on Ambaji Road. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells quite clearly in the mornings and evenings. It’s actually a nice way to start the day here. Perception Technology is a small operation, and we have tucked ourselves away in this specific corner of the building. The stairs going up to the office are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step when they visit. Inside, there are computers everywhere and a lot of tangled wires that we keep meaning to organize better one of these days. The walls are painted a dull off-white color that has definitely seen better days. We do a lot of tech work here, mostly sitting at our desks for long stretches at a time. During festivals, the whole area around the Mandir gets really packed, and getting to the office becomes a big challenge. We usually just walk from the main road on those days to avoid the traffic. There is a small window that looks out onto the courtyard, which gives us some fresh air when it isn't too hot. Most of our clients just call us on the phone, so we do not get too many visitors in person. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. It is a practical space for what we do. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee when the afternoons get long. It is just how we work.
