Nita Food Products

Living and working near the Delhi National Highway means things never really get quiet. Nita Food Products is situated right by the Gayatri Mandir, so we usually hear the temple bells in the morning while we're starting up the kitchen. It’s a family kind of place. We mostly spend our time making sure the food we put out is something we’d actually eat at home. There’s no big corporate board here, just us trying to keep up with the demand. The highway brings in a lot of different people, and sometimes travelers stop in just because they saw our sign. We do a lot of the work by hand because that’s just how we learned to do it. Sometimes the floors are a bit dusty from the road outside, and the phone rings more than we can answer, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the packets we send out are full and the taste is right. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and late nights, especially when a big order comes in last minute. My cousins and a few local guys help out. We’ve been in this spot for years, and even though the highway has changed a lot, we’re still doing things the same way. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset.
