G.D. Goenka International School

We are located at the Wisdom Valley Campus, near Anuvrat Dwar. It's on the New City Light Road, specifically the Rcc Canal Road area in Barthana-Vesu. It's a newer part of town, so things look a bit different than the older sections of Surat. G.D. Goenka International School is a big place, and keeping track of everything keeps us pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. The campus has plenty of room, which is good because we have a lot of students coming in every day. We spend a lot of time making sure the grounds are kept up and that the classrooms have what they need. There's always a bit of paperwork to handle or a parent coming in with a question about the bus routes. We don't really use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just a school. The kids come here to learn their subjects and we provide the space for them to do that. Sometimes the weather gets really humid, and everyone is just waiting for the rain to cool things down. We see a lot of faces throughout the day, and you get to know the regulars pretty well. It’s a long day for the staff, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on the daily tasks, making sure the schedule is followed and everyone stays safe until it’s time to go home. It is a lot of work but it feels right.
