We’re located at Shop Number 490 in Tilda, right next to the SBI ATM. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find if you're in the area. Our shop is a typical small-town engineering place. It’s usually got a bit of iron dust on the floor and the smell of welding or cutting oil in the air. We’ve been here in Tilda for a long time now, and we’ve seen the town change quite a bit. People bring us all sorts of things that need fixing, from farm equipment parts to random bits of metal that have snapped off something important. We have some old machines that we’ve used for years and they still do the job just fine. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who have been doing this kind of work for most of our lives. We don't have any big fancy signs or a polished website. Most people just know us by word of mouth or because they passed by while going to the bank. Some jobs are really tricky and take a lot of head-scratching to figure out, while others are pretty routine. We don't mind either way. It’s nice to be able to fix something for a neighbor and see it working again. The shop gets pretty hot in the summer, but we just keep the doors open and get on with it. It’s a simple, hands-on business and we’re happy with how things are going here.
