Alan Engineers

Alan Engineers is based out of the Sonadih Cement Plant area in Balodabazar, near Raipur. Specifically, we are located through the quarters of the Medical Officer for Lafarge India (P) Ltd, which is where Dr. N S Panicker stays. It’s a bit of a unique setup because we aren't in a commercial market or an office block. We are right there where the industrial action happens. Being so close to the cement plant means we are always in the middle of the heavy industry environment. The air is often thick with the sounds of the plant operating. Our work involves a lot of technical engineering tasks that require us to be on-site frequently. When we aren't at the plant, we are at the residence handling the drawings and the planning. It’s a very quiet part of the plant’s residential area, which is nice for focusing on the details. We don't have a storefront or a public office. Most of our work is through direct contact with the industries around here. It’s just a few of us, and we’ve been working in this Raipur region for quite some time. The lifestyle here is very tied to the plant’s schedule. We aren't big on talking about our history; we just let the engineering work speak for itself. It’s a very straightforward, practical way to operate a business without any of the usual office frills.
