You can find us at the TSIL Township in Bileipada, near Joda. We are in the Orissa region, though the pin code 491227 sometimes gets people confused because it looks like it belongs elsewhere, but this is where we are actually located. Tata Sponge Iron Ltd has had a presence here for a long time. It’s mostly an industrial setup, very functional and focused on the work at hand. We don’t have a flashy office with a reception; it’s more about the desks, the ledgers, and the people who know how the iron business works. Living and working in the township means we’re always close to the plant. It’s a tight-knit group of people here. Most of us have been around for years and know the ins and outs of the local area. Joda is the nearest big town, so we head there for anything the township doesn't have. The work is steady, mostly involving the processing of sponge iron which is a staple for this part of India. It’s a dusty job, and the sun can be quite harsh, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on keeping the operations running as they should. There’s no corporate talk here, just plain English about what we do. We wake up, head to the site, and make sure the day’s goals are met.
