Vidyaranya School

Vidyaranya School has been here in Badanahatti for quite a while now. We are just a small place in the Chinchagher area of Bellary. Most of the people around here know where we are. It’s not a fancy building or anything, just some rooms where the local kids come to learn their lessons every day. Sometimes it gets really hot in Bellary, so we try to keep the fans running as much as possible so the children can focus. The teachers live nearby and usually walk to work. We have a small playground outside, but it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. The kids don't seem to mind though, they just want to run around during the lunch break. We started with just a couple of classes but slowly added more as more families moved into the neighborhood. It is usually pretty quiet during the morning hours once everyone settles into their seats. You can hear the voices of children reciting their numbers or letters from the street. We try to keep things simple here. There is always a lot of paperwork on the desks and books stacked up in the corners. It’s a busy place but we like the noise. Sometimes the parents stop by to talk about their children or just to say hello. It feels like a small community here in this part of Bellary. We enjoy seeing the students grow up and move on to bigger things after they finish here.
