Our office is at 88/81 on Kalamma Street, right near the Hotel Rameswari Complex. It’s an old part of the neighborhood and we’ve been here at Syed Realtors for several years. The place is small and tucked away, but it works fine for us. My father started this work and now I handle the day-to-day stuff with a bit of help. We don't have a big staff or any glossy brochures to show you. Most of our business is just talking to people who walk in off the street or locals who have known us for years. Real estate here can be a bit complicated with the old titles and family plots, so we spend a lot of time just checking documents and making sure everything is clear. We handle houses, some land, and shops too. It’s a lot of walking around and meeting owners in person. Sometimes it feels like we’re more like advisors than anything else. People ask us about the market and we tell them what we see. We don’t promise anything we can't actually do. Some days are just spent drinking coffee and waiting for the phone to ring, and other days we are out in the sun all afternoon. It’s a simple business.
