Our mill is found on the bypass road in Taluk Hospet, right across from the agri farm. Being on the bypass is handy because it saves the big trucks from having to drive through the middle of the town. We spend our days processing rice, and the sound of the machinery is constant from the time we open until we head home. The yard is usually full of activity, with tractors coming in and grain being unloaded. It’s a lot of hard, physical work, moving those heavy sacks around and making sure the milling is done right. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; it’s more of a practical space with some old desks and a lot of paperwork. We work with many local farmers who have been bringing their grain to us for years. We aren't a big corporation, just a local business that understands the grain trade. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend hours getting them back in order, which is just part of the job. The dust gets everywhere, but we don't mind it much anymore. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the farmers are taken care of. Most of our new business comes from people seeing the mill as they drive past on the bypass road. We don't do anything flashy, just stick to the work we know.
