Grv Masala Foods Private Limited

We are located in Hospet, specifically in the Cowlpet area. Our address is Door Number 223, which is in the 9th Ward and quite close to the Maddi Gudi landmark. Being in the Bellary district, the weather gets really hot in the afternoons, but we stay busy inside Grv Masala Foods regardless of the heat. We spend our time working with different blends of local masalas. It’s a small, local operation where everyone knows each other’s names. You’ll usually find us grinding spices or sealing up plastic bags to get them ready for the local market. It isn't a fancy factory with robots, just a solid building where we get the job done by hand. The smell of chili and coriander is always hanging in the air around our street. Sometimes the old machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves on the spot. It’s just how things go for us here. We aren’t trying to be some massive corporation with offices in every city; we just like making masala that tastes the way it should. The neighbors in Cowlpet see us coming and going at all hours of the day. We try to keep things simple and honest in everything we do. Most of our day is spent making sure the quality is okay and the packets are filled up correctly. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet for hours, but it’s what we do for a living. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we don't really plan on moving anywhere else.
