S. J. B. Rubber Udyog

Out here in Village Kailly, things feel a little different than the big city industrial zones. S. J. B. Rubber Udyog sits right at 41/1 Mathura Road. Since we’re on the main road, we see a lot of trucks passing by all day long heading towards Delhi or further south. The smell of raw rubber is something you never quite lose, even after you go home for the day. It’s a thick, earthy scent that fills up the workspace. We started small, just a few presses and a couple of people from the village. The building itself is plain, just brick and some corrugated roofing that rattles when the wind picks up. We don’t have a website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they saw the sign from the road or heard about us from someone else in the trade. Dealing with rubber is tricky work; you have to get the temperature just right or the whole batch is ruined. We’ve had our fair share of bad days where things didn't go right, but we just start over and try again. It’s quiet in the evenings once the machines shut down, and you can hear the birds in the fields nearby. We like the pace here. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough without being overwhelming. We just focus on the slabs and molded parts, making sure they’re ready for the transport guys when they show up.
