Our factory is situated in Sikri Village, which is part of the Ballabgarh Tehsil in the Faridabad district. It is a pretty rural area compared to the main city, but that works fine for what we do at L S Abrasives. We make various types of grinding and polishing materials here. The process involves a lot of heat and dust, so the workspace is always a bit gritty. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages and they have been with us for a long time. We have got some old machines that have been running for years and they still do the job just fine. The yard outside is usually filled with bags of raw materials waiting to be processed. It is a quiet area mostly, except for the sound of our equipment humming along. Sometimes the cows from the village wander near the gate, which is just how things are around here. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they have been buying from us for decades. The office is just a small room with a couple of filing cabinets and an old wooden desk. We drink a lot of tea during the breaks to stay hydrated because the furnaces make the place quite warm. It is a basic operation but it keeps everyone busy and the product goes out on time to the customers.
