You can find us over at Belda Sindhia, specifically in Ward 15 of Baleshwar. It’s a part of Baleshwar Sadar where things are usually moving pretty fast. Our office is tucked away at the 125 140 739 address, which sounds complicated but it's just a regular spot in the neighborhood. We are a farmer producer company, and most of us here have dirt under our fingernails most of the time because we are actually out there doing the farming ourselves. Baleshwar has that coastal air, and it can get really humid, which affects how we store our crops and how we plan our days. We spend a lot of time worrying about the rains and whether the transport will show up on time to pick up the harvest. It’s a lot of coordination between the different farmers in the group. We aren't trying to be some big city corporation; we are just a bunch of guys from the Belda Sindhia area trying to make the Odifarm name mean something to the local people. We have meetings that sometimes go on too long because everyone has a different opinion on how to handle the pests or the soil. It’s just the reality of life in Orissa. We keep our doors open for any local farmer who needs a bit of help or wants to join in with what we’re doing. It is tough work, but someone has to do it.
