Pravick Spices Private Limited

Pravick Spices is tucked away in the Sunhat Akatpur Extension in Balasore. It’s a busy part of town, and our building is usually filled with the smell of whatever spices we’re working on that day. It can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not used to it, but we like it. We aren't a giant factory. It’s more of a local operation where we grind and mix things. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure the labels are on straight, though sometimes they’re a little crooked. That’s just how it goes when you’re doing things by hand mostly. We don’t have a corporate office with glass walls. We just have our workspace here in Baleshwar. Most of the staff comes from the local neighborhoods. We talk about the weather and the local news while we work. It’s a friendly place, even if it gets a bit dusty from the pepper and turmeric. We don't spend money on fancy ads. We figure if the spices are good, people will come back. Sometimes we run out of certain things and have to wait for new batches, but we try to keep moving. It’s just us, Pravick Spices, doing our best in Sunhat. We’re not trying to be the biggest, just trying to stay busy and keep the spice grinders humming. It’s a simple way to make a living and we enjoy it.
