We are based out of Jagannathpur near Oupada. Niranjan Swain started this to handle nature farming and give some support to people around here. It’s a small place in Baleshwar. We don’t have fancy equipment, just doing the work on the land. Sometimes things are slow because of the weather. It is what it is. We try to keep the soil healthy. People come by the house often. It gets dusty in the summer. We handle the daily chores ourselves. It's a lot of manual labor. Our office is basically just a room in the house at Rairam Chandrapur. We grew up here, so we know the area well. The rain is heavy during monsoon, which helps but also makes the roads a mess. We just wanted to do something for the village. Farming isn't easy, but we've been at it for a while now. The support part is just helping neighbors with their crops and seeds. We share what we know. It isn’t much, but it keeps us busy from morning to night. Most of the time we are out in the fields rather than sitting behind a desk. If you're looking for us, just ask around for the Swain house. Most people know where we are located. We're just trying to make a living and keep the traditional ways going as much as possible without making things too complicated. We focus on the soil and the plants more than anything else.
