Neelayam Computer

Neelayam Computer is situated in Uttareswar, right along the NH5 in Balasore. Being on the national highway means there is a lot of noise and dust from the trucks and cars passing by all the time. It’s a very industrial and busy part of the area. Our shop is easy to spot if you are driving along the NH5, as we have a small sign out front. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than it is out on the road, but not by much. We handle computer sales and repairs for the people living in Uttareswar and the surrounding parts of Balasore. The shop is filled with various boxes and parts that we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the most organized place, but we have a system that works for us. We spend a lot of time dealing with hardware issues, as the heat and dust from the highway can be tough on the machines. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad and people don't want to travel on the highway. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. It’s a practical location for a business like this because so many people travel this route. We’ve met a lot of interesting people who just stopped in because they saw the shop while they were passing through Balasore. We keep a stash of cold water in the back for anyone who needs a break from the heat. The NH5 is never quiet, but we like the energy it brings.
