Laxmi Pulse Mill

Our mill is at 11, Bus Stand Road. It’s easy to find because we’re right near where all the buses stop. Laxmi Pulse Mill has been around for some time now. We spend our days processing different kinds of pulses. The machines are pretty loud, so you can hear us from the street sometimes. It gets dusty in there, but that’s just the nature of the business. We get grains coming in and then we clean them and get them ready. It’s a lot of manual work. My brothers and I run most of it. We don't have any fancy brochures. People around here just know us as the pulse mill near the bus stand. We see a lot of people passing by every day. The road gets very busy during the morning rush. We’ve got bags stacked up almost to the ceiling most weeks. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the raw stuff, mill it, and sell it. Not much to it besides hard work. The building is older, but it stays sturdy. We keep the equipment running as best as we can. Sometimes things break and we fix them ourselves without calling anyone else. We don't really have a sales team. We just open the doors and get to work. That's how we've always done it at number 11. It's been a good spot for us through the years.
