Sigma Plastics

We are located over in Balanagar, specifically at 66/A in the SVCIE area. It's an industrial spot, so it’s always noisy and there’s always a lot of movement. Sigma Plastics has been running from this building for quite some time now. We deal with various plastic components and molding. It’s not glamorous work, just a lot of machines running and making sure the cycles are right. We spend most of our time on the floor checking the molds and the raw materials we use. Balanagar is a tough place to get around sometimes with all the traffic, but being in the industrial estate makes sense for what we do. We have a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We know how the machines sound when they’re working right and when they’re not. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but it has to be done correctly every single time. We don't really do much advertising around here. People in the trade know where we are. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just have to fix it and keep going. It’s practical work for practical people. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the quality steady so we don't have issues later on. If you come by the shop, it’s usually messy with crates and scraps, but that’s how a real factory looks.
