Jai Bhavani Plastics

Our shop is right near the Gram Panchayat Office in Fathenagar. Jai Bhavani Plastics has been here for a few years now. We sell a lot of different plastic items, mostly things people need for their houses or for running their own small shops. We have buckets, chairs, and lots of storage containers stacked up high against the walls. The shop is 11-39 and it’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for the customers. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what someone is looking for right away, but we eventually dig it out from the back piles. Fathenagar is a busy place with a lot of small industries and workshops around us. We get a lot of walk-in customers from the nearby colonies and the office workers passing by. My brother and I run the place together. We start early in the morning, unloading the new stock that comes in on the mini-trucks from the city. The dust from the road gets on everything, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the display items with a rag. We don't do much online, mostly just cash sales at the counter. People like to see what they’re buying and check if the plastic is thick enough for their needs. We have a regular tea delivery from the stall across the road every afternoon. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s a good living. We just try to keep the shop stocked with the stuff people actually use.
