Kamla Devi Computer

Kamla Devi Computer is over in Kumhari. It’s a small town and we are just one of the local spots people come to. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just a shop on the main path. The room is filled with some old monitors, keyboard parts, and cables tangled up in boxes. It’s dusty because the road outside isn't paved very well and the trucks kick up a lot of grit. We spend most of the day looking at screens or trying to find why a motherboard isn't working. We aren't fast-talkers. If something is broken, we tell you. If we can't fix it, we say so. People from the village come in to get their documents typed or printed. We have a printer that's a bit slow but it gets the job done eventually. There is a small bench out front where people sit and chat while they wait for their stuff. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their names. It’s not a place where we wear suits. Usually just a t-shirt and slippers. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much so we have a fan that squeaks. We keep it going all day. It’s a small life but it keeps us busy enough. We don't have any big plans to expand. We just like being the computer guys in Kumhari.
