Gujarat Tiles

Gujarat Tiles is located right on Balaghat Road in Chhapara. We are directly opposite the police station, which makes it very easy to give people directions when they are coming to see us. The district of Seoni can get very dusty, especially with all the trucks moving along the road outside. Our building is mostly a big warehouse space where we keep all the stock. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. We spend our days covered in a bit of white dust from the tiles, and our shoes are never really clean. It is a practical business. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. We just have the stacks of tiles and a small corner where we sit to do the billing. The heat in Chhapara can be quite intense in the summer, so we usually have a cold water jar ready for anyone who stops by. Most of the people who come in are local builders or folks working on their own houses. We talk to them about what they need and try to help them find the right pile. The police station across the way keeps things quiet enough, though we hear the sirens every now and then when something is happening in town. It is hard work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. But we like being on Balaghat Road. It is a busy spot and there is always something happening outside near the station.
