Shree Manu Tile

At Shree Manu Tile, we spend our days in Village Rewali, which is in the Bahror Tehsil of Alwar District. We are very close to the Government College, so it is easy to find us if you are in the neighborhood. We make tiles of different sorts and keep them stacked in the yard near the main building. Alwar gets very hot in the summer months, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the early morning hours before the sun is directly overhead. Our setup is pretty basic, with the machines and the drying area taking up most of the space. We are not a big company with many departments. It is just a few of us making sure the tiles are made properly and loaded onto the trucks without breaking. We get a lot of dust on our clothes by the end of the shift, but that is part of the life here in Rewali. The college students walk past our gate every day, and sometimes we see the locals stopping by to ask about prices or delivery times. We do not have a polished way of speaking; we just tell people what we have available. We take care of the machines and hope they do not break down when we have a big order to fill. It is a steady life and we are happy to be working here in this part of the district.
