Sri Satya Sai Inter College

Sri Satya Sai Inter College is located out in Parsohana. If you’re familiar with Bahraich, you know it's a quiet area mostly. We’ve been operating here for years, dealing with the older students mostly since we are an inter college. The building is solid, standing on the edge of the village area. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have fans in the classrooms to help. We don’t have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just us and the local staff trying to get through the syllabus. Every morning the students arrive from nearby villages, some walking and others on bikes. We have a set routine for the assembly and then the classes start. It’s pretty standard. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the day’s work. There’s always paperwork to do, exams to grade, and things to fix around the property. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up fine for now. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just provide a place for education to happen. It's a lot of work, keeping everything running smoothly in 271851, but we've been at it for a long time. It feels like home to most of us who work here. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the kids have what they need for their exams and keeping the gates secure.
