Sri Rudrasen Choudhary Kisan Inter College

This inter college is located out in Rampur Dhobiya Har, which is part of the Bahraich district. The name has Kisan in it because most of our students come from the farming families that live in the nearby villages. It is a fairly large area with buildings that hold all the different classes for the older kids. We do not have much in the way of landscaping or fancy offices. It is a very rural setting and things are kept simple. The classrooms have the basic wooden desks and benches that have been around for years. During the monsoon, the ground gets a bit muddy and it can be a challenge for the students to get here from their homes. We have the standard subjects and the teachers focus on making sure everyone is ready for their state board exams when the time comes. It is a bit of a trek for some of the staff too, but we show up every day to keep the place running. There is a lot of noise during the lunch break when the students are out in the open areas. We do not have a cafeteria or anything, so most kids bring their own food from home. It is a plain and practical place for education in a part of Bahraich where people work hard. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the school in decent shape for everyone.
