Pjk School New

Pjk School New is situated on the Delhi Rohtak Road in Bahadurgarh. Since we have "New" in our name, people sometimes expect everything to be shiny and perfect, but we are still finding our feet in many ways. The location is right by the main highway, so the traffic is constant and we get a lot of dust blowing in from the road. We spend a good chunk of time just keeping the place clean. The classrooms are set up with the essentials, and we’ve been slowly adding more furniture as we get more students. It’s a bit different from being tucked away in a quiet residential street. You can hear the trucks shifting gears all day long. The teachers here mostly commute from other parts of town or even from Delhi. We have a small office where we handle all the paperwork and talk to parents who stop by after seeing our sign from the road. It’s not a very complicated operation. We have the usual school hours and the usual problems like a lightbulb burning out or needing more chalk. Everything is still settling in, so some corners of the building are still being sorted out. We just want to provide a place where the kids can sit down and learn their lessons without any big distractions from the busy road outside. It’s a work in progress and we are just happy to be here.
