Our work is mostly about designing things that people actually need. We don’t go for anything too flashy or unnecessary. Most of the time, it’s just us sitting around a table, sketching out ideas and then trying to make them work in the real world. Designing is a lot more about problem-solving than people think. We get all kinds of requests, and we just try to be practical about them. The office is a simple place. We’ve got our computers and our drafting boards, and that’s about it. There’s no big reception desk or a person waiting to open the door for you. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We like it that way. It keeps things honest. Being in Haryana, we see a lot of different types of construction and development, so we try to keep up with what’s happening locally. It’s good work, and it keeps our minds sharp.
