Kafal Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at House Number 1 in Tanikhet, Garur. We are right next to the Patanjali Vikray Kendra, so it is a very easy spot for the local farmers to find. We are a group of producers from this area who decided to pool our resources. Garur is a place where many people still farm the traditional way, but it is hard to do everything alone. That is why we started this company. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing department. Our space in Tanikhet is used for meetings and for keeping track of what everyone is growing. You will often see us sitting around on plastic chairs, talking about the market prices or the latest weather reports from the hills. The name "Kafal" reminds us of the local hills and the fruit that grows wild here. We deal with whatever the members are bringing in, from grains to local vegetables. It is hard work and involve a lot of manual lifting. We do not use any polished language or fancy slogans. We are just regular people from the neighborhood. Some days we have a lot of produce to move and everyone is very busy. Other days, when the season is slow, we just tidy up the place and plan for the next month. It is a simple business run by people who actually know what it is like to work the soil.
