Shipra Marble House

Our place is right at Junedganj Chauraha in Hafiz Pur, not far from the Bilariyaganj Road. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve got a lot of marble slabs leaning against the walls and stacked in the back area. It’s a lot of weight to move around, so we spend a good part of the day just shifting things so people can see the different patterns. The shop isn’t very big, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Hafiz Pur is a nice area, and we’ve made a lot of friends among the neighbors over the years. We don’t put on any acts here. If a piece of marble has a crack or a weird mark, we’ll point it out. It’s better that way so nobody gets a surprise later on. The weather can be a bit of a problem when it’s raining hard because the yard gets muddy, but we manage. We use an old tea stall nearby for our breaks, and that’s where most of the local gossip happens. People stop by even if they aren't buying anything, just to say hello or ask for directions because we are right at the chauraha. It’s just a regular local business where we work hard and try to stay out of trouble.
