We started this because there weren't many quiet spots around here for kids to get their work done. We handle the day-to-day running of the center ourselves. That means cleaning the floors, fixing the lights when they flicker, and making sure there are enough chairs for everyone. It’s not a high-tech operation or anything like that. Just some tables and a bit of peace and quiet. Most of us working here grew up in this area, so we know the local streets well. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly local students from the nearby schools. Sometimes we have to tell them to stop chatting so much, but they are good kids who just want to learn. We just give them the space and the basic stuff they need. It isn’t fancy, but it gets the job done for the people in Balakram colony. We are just a local study center trying to keep the doors open and the lights on for the students who need a place to think. It's a simple life for us.
