Rang Mahal

Rang Mahal is our small place in the village of Tanda. We are in the Ambedkar Nagar district, specifically in the Tanda area under the local Tehsil. Life here moves at a different pace than the big cities, and we like it that way. We deal with paints and colors, which is why we named it Rang Mahal. Most of our customers are locals from the village or from nearby parts of Ambedkar Nagar who are painting their houses for festivals or weddings. The shop is full of different cans and brushes. I remember when we first opened, we didn't have much, but slowly we added more varieties of paint. It can get a bit messy with paint stains on the floor but that is how a paint shop should look. People come in and talk about what shade would look good on their front door. We give them our honest opinion based on what others have used in the village. During the harvest season, things get a bit quiet because everyone is out in the fields working. But when the festivals come, the shop stays busy until late evening. My son helps me with the heavier cans. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people face to face. If you ask anyone in the post Tanda area where the paint shop is, they will point you to us easily.
