Gugantar Classes

Our classes are held in a building right near the Gurudwara in Amaniganj. It is a very busy part of Faizabad, so there is always something going on outside. You can usually hear the sounds from the temple and the market throughout the day. Gugantar Classes is a modest setup, nothing more than a couple of rooms with some basic furniture. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us well. The rooms can get quite warm in the summer months, so we have a few old pedestal fans that we move around to keep everyone comfortable. We don't have any flashy posters or modern decor on the walls. It is mostly just calendars and a few old notices pinned up. We do all the work ourselves, from answering the door to cleaning up after the day is done. Sometimes we run out of markers or the ink dries up, and one of us has to run out to the local shop to get more. It is that kind of place. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous; we are just a local place where students can come to sit and learn without any distractions. Most of the families around Amaniganj know where we are, so we don't feel the need for big advertisements. We just keep our doors open and do what we do.
