Vaidant General Store

Vaidant General Store is over in N 11 Hudco in Aurangabad. We are right near Balaji Optical, which most people know in this part of town. This is a residential area, so we mostly see the same people every day. The shop is filled with a bit of everything. We have plastic buckets hanging from the ceiling and shelves packed with snacks and toiletries. It’s not very organized, but we know where everything is. The kids from the nearby houses always come in for some candy or small toys. We spend our time talking to the parents about the local water supply or whatever is happening in Hudco. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t have fancy lighting or air conditioning. Just a regular ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. When it rains, we have to move some of the displays back from the doorway. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people. We don't try to be anything else. We keep the daily essentials in stock so people don’t have to drive far. Sometimes it’s a bit quiet in the middle of the afternoon, so we catch up on the newspaper. It’s a steady kind of life here in Aurangabad. We are just a part of the neighborhood, helping out with the small things people need for their houses and their kids.
