It’s a lot of numbers every single day. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with plenty of paper and calculators lying around. We start early because that’s when the air is still a bit cool. Most of the people who come here are looking to get their head around commerce topics that are hard to do alone. We have desks that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. It’s a very local operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and we usually get our tea from the stall just down the street. It’s funny how the day goes by so fast when you’re looking at ledgers. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy lighting. We just keep the doors open and the lights on. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but that’s just life in Aurangabad. We make do with what we have. It’s a straightforward place for straightforward work. No one puts on an act here. We just sit down, open the books, and try to make sense of the syllabus before the sun goes down. There is always someone here checking over a spreadsheet or fixing a mistake in a ledger.
