Saurab General Store

Our shop, Saurab General Store, is located on Chwani Road in the Chawani area of Aurangabad. We are quite close to More Chowk, which is a busy spot where several roads meet. Because of that, we get a mix of local residents and people just passing through the junction on their way somewhere else. The store carries a variety of household goods that people need daily. We have everything from cleaning supplies to small snacks and basic stationery for students. It’s the kind of place where you can find those little things you forgot during your big grocery trip to the market. The shelves are usually quite full, and we try our best to keep things organized, though it can get a bit messy when we are restocking in the middle of a busy day. We’ve been operating in this 431002 zip code for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Despite the changes, the way we run the shop stays the same. We open up early, sweep the front, and wait for the first customers of the morning to arrive. It’s a lot of standing and talking, which is fine because it makes the long day go by faster. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a plain, honest shop where you can get what you need without any fuss. People appreciate that they can just walk in and find what they want.
