Saudagar Provision

Life at Roshan Gate is always moving, and here in Azam Colony, things are no different. Our provision shop is right in the middle of it all. We open up and start rearranging the sacks of rice and dal first thing. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes, but we manage. People living around here in Aurangabad know they can just walk over when they run out of sugar or soap. We don't have big signs or anything, just the usual items stacked up. The morning rush is the busiest part of the day because everyone is getting ready for work or school. We see a lot of people from the colony every single day. Some stay for a minute to chat, while others are in a big hurry. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic near Roshan Gate, but inside we just focus on the scales and the bags. We’ve been here at this address for quite some time, and it feels like home now. Sometimes the light is dim in the back, but we know exactly where everything is kept. It is just a regular shop for regular people. We don't try to be anything else. When the sun goes down, the street gets even busier, and we keep the lights on until the last few customers finish their shopping for dinner.
