Santosh Provision

Over here in Jaitkhed, things move a bit slower than in the main city. Santosh Provision is located right on the main road, not far from the bus stand. It’s a convenient spot for people living nearby or those just passing through the Kannad district. We have been here for some time, and the shop has become a regular stop for many. Inside, you’ll find all the usual things like grains, soaps, and those little packets of snacks the kids like. The wooden counter is a bit worn down from years of people leaning on it while they chat or wait for their change. We don't use any high-tech systems here; it’s mostly just us writing things down or remembering the prices. The sunlight hits the front of the shop in the morning, making it quite bright. We usually have a few sacks of rice sitting out front to show what’s fresh. People come by and talk about the crops or the weather while we weigh out their lentils. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know who prefers which brand of tea and who always forgets to bring their own bag. It’s not just about selling things; it’s just being part of the daily life on this road. We keep the doors open until the evening air starts to cool down and the street noise fades away. It's a simple life but it keeps us busy and connected to everyone here.
