Sai Sangam General Store

We opened Sai Sangam General Store on Station Road here in Aurangabad quite some time back. If you know the area near Saraswati Devi Mandir, you’ve probably walked past us while headed toward Ahilyabai Kelkar Chowk. It’s a busy spot. Most days we are just busy keeping the shelves full of the things people actually need every day. You know how it is with a general store. One person wants a specific brand of soap and the next one is looking for some snacks or maybe some stationery for their kids. We try to keep a bit of everything. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. The traffic outside is always loud because of the station being so close, but inside we just focus on getting people what they need quickly so they can get on with their day. Sometimes we run out of things, but we try to restock as fast as the delivery trucks can get through the narrow roads. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where you can pick up milk or biscuits. The temple nearby brings in a lot of people on certain days, so those mornings are usually extra hectic for us. We just keep things moving. There is always something to clean or a box to unpack. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do here every single day without fail.
