Sahara General Store

Sahara General Store is right on T V Center Road in Aurangabad, just across from the Shalimar Hotel. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us. We are in the S.T. Colony area, near the Kot Kot Gate. The shop is a straightforward place for your daily needs. We carry everything from spices and grains to toiletries and snacks. It’s a bit of a small room, so it can feel a little tight when there are more than two people inside. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood has become like family to us. The traffic outside can be quite loud, but once you step inside, it’s just the smell of open spice bags and laundry soap. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working the shifts. We try to keep the prices fair and the stock full. If the weather is dusty, we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars. We don't do anything special like loyalty programs or big sales. We just sell things at the price they are. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the narrow streets, but we manage somehow. People stop by to ask for directions quite often because of the hotel nearby. We don't mind helping out. It’s a simple business in a busy part of town. We just keep doing what we’ve always done.
