Sachin Provision Centre

If you go towards the Aurangabad Railway Station, you’ll find Sachin Provision Centre near Chtak Dhoda. We've been here for a good amount of time. It's a busy area and we get a lot of commuters coming and going. I handle most of the work myself. We have rice, dal, different types of oils, and the snacks that people like around here. The shop is a bit tucked away on Station Road, so you have to look for the sign. I keep it simple. No fancy displays or bright neon signs. Just a counter and shelves full of boxes. The heat in Aurangabad can be quite something in the summer, so we have a big old fan that makes a lot of noise. We sell a lot of tobacco and matches too. People come in, ask for what they want, and I get it down from the high shelves with a long stick. Sometimes the kids come in for sweets after school and make a mess, but it’s fine. I like talking to the regular people who live in the quarters nearby. They tell me about their families while I weigh their items. We don't have a computer system, everything is done by hand in a notebook. It works for us. The Station Road is always dusty, so I have to clean the jars every morning. It's a lot of work but it keeps the shop looking okay. We're just a small family business trying to do our part every day.
