Noor General Store

Most people living around Silk Milk Colony know exactly where we are located. We are quite close to the Aurangabad Railway Station, so there is always a lot of noise from the trains and people rushing around to catch their rides. Being near Mazidiya Hall also helps people find us when they come into town for weddings or other functions. The shop itself is small, but we manage to cram a lot of different items inside the space. You will find things like shampoos, biscuits, and those little packets of spices that everyone uses. I try my best to keep the place organized, but with so many boxes coming in every other day, it gets a bit messy by the time afternoon rolls around. My nephew comes to help me on the weekends when the station area gets really crowded with travelers. We get a mix of people passing through and locals who live right here. Some folks just want a cold drink while they wait for their bus. I have lived in Aurangabad for a long time, so I have seen this colony change quite a bit over the years. The heat in the summer makes it hard to stay inside all day, so we keep the fan running constantly. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy, just our items stacked up where you can see them from the street. It is a simple business and we like it that way.
