Our workshop is tucked away in Nandanvan Colony, specifically inside the Builder Housing Society area. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part. We spend our time making brushes here. It is a small operation, really. Most of the day is spent hunched over a workbench. You would be surprised how much effort goes into making a simple brush. Different materials are scattered around the room and the machines make a constant hum all day long. We have been in this spot for quite a bit now. Neighbors know us as the people who are always busy working. There is no big storefront or neon sign to show where we are. It is just a practical space where we can get things done without being distracted. Sometimes we get a bit backed up with orders, but we just keep at it until the boxes are packed and ready. The light in the workshop is okay, but we mostly rely on the big windows during the afternoon. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just make brushes for people who need them. Things get a bit cramped when we have a lot of supplies delivered at once. But we manage to make it work. It is a simple life for us. We close up in the evenings and head home like everyone else in the colony. Being part of a housing society where people recognize you is nice. We sweep up every night.
