Kalam Kirana And General is a basic shop out in the Satara area of Aurangabad. We are right on the Beed By Pass, so it’s easy to find us if you are traveling that way. It is a simple kirana store where we sell grains, soaps, and other everyday things. We have been in the 431001 area for some time. The shop isn't very modern, it has that old-school feel that a lot of local places in Maharashtra have. We don't use any fancy computer systems; we mostly just write things down or remember them. It works for us. The neighbors around here are friendly and they usually stop for a chat when they buy their groceries. It can get pretty busy on the weekends when everyone is doing their shopping for the week. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. There are no corporate rules here, just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to wait around, but we don't mind much. It is just a regular life in a regular shop. We like being part of the Satara neighborhood. If you need something for your kitchen, you can just pop in and we will see what we have. It’s a bit dusty because of the bypass road, but the goods inside are kept covered and safe for everyone.
