Janta Provision

Our little shop is tucked away in Osmanpura, specifically in the Ek Nath Nagar area of Aurangabad. It’s one of those places where you can find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. I spend my mornings opening up the shutters and seeing who is already waiting for their daily supplies. We carry the usual stuff like grains, cleaning supplies, and those small snacks that kids always want. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes things get tucked behind other things, so I have to hunt for them when someone asks. It isn't a quiet job because there is always someone coming in or a truck passing by outside. We keep a ledger for some of the older residents who have been coming here since we first opened. It’s not a polished corporate store; we have bags of rice sitting on the floor and boxes piled up in the corners. Sometimes the light inside is a bit dim, but everyone knows where the pulses are kept. I don’t spend money on advertising because the people living on this street know exactly what we have. It’s just about being here every day, making sure we don't run out of the basics like soap or cooking oil. It’s hard work, especially when the summer heat hits Maharashtra, but it’s a living. We just provide the neighborhood with what they need to get through their week without making a big deal out of it.
