Out here in G-36 MIDC Chikalthana, things move at a certain pace. Glanze Engg. Co. P.L. has been operating from this spot for quite some time. Being in an industrial area means there is always the sound of machines and trucks passing by. It’s a practical place, built for work, not for looking pretty. We do engineering work, mostly the kind of stuff that goes unnoticed but is necessary. Our day starts early. Usually, the first thing is checking the machines and seeing what the schedule looks like. We aren't some big corporate entity with a glass building. It’s just a workshop where we put in the hours. Sometimes things go wrong, a part might be late or a drawing isn't clear, and we have to spend the afternoon figuring it out. That’s just part of the job. We have some guys who have been with us since the beginning. They know the machines better than anyone. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the time we are on the floor, making sure things are being built right. Chikalthana is a good place for this kind of work. Everything we need is usually close by. We don't make any grand promises. We just take the orders, do the engineering, and make sure the parts get where they need to go. It’s honest work and it keeps us going.
